My exceedingly dumb ass thought it was a good idea to eat something when I listened to this for the first time. Then "Primitive Struggle" comes on...I lost my appetite but I can't say that I regretted it... Very evocative, very visceral shit, I love it. That closing track in particular had me hiccupping from the distress but it was moving all the same.

Il n'est pas vraiment possible de s'habituer à la musique de Gnaw Their Tongues. Croyez-moi, j'ai beau essayer depuis des mois, chacune de ses sorties me laisse un sentiment de malaise indescriptible. The Atrocious Silence of Our Wounds n'atteint même pas les dix minutes mais l'ambiance poisseuse, les pleurs d'enfants, les blasts black metal sur un rythme trop lent lors de la première piste, la monotonie cacophonique sur la seconde — tout ça me donne mal au ventre. Mories est un génie du mal.
